Garlic Chicken Pasta

ingrediants

  • 4 chicken breasts
  • salt/pepper
  • 1pkg angel hair pasta
  • 5Tbs capers
  • 2 cans artichoke hearts (we used progresso)
  • 1/2 Tbs crushed red pepper (add more for a kick)
  • 1/2 red onion chopped
  • 1Tbs garlic powder
  • 2 sticks butter
  • parmesan (to taste)

Directions

  1. cut the chicken up into slices and cook in a large skillet (season with salt and pepper to taste)
  2. saute the onions with the cooked chicken
  3. cook pasta al dente
  4. melt the butter with the onions and chicken
  5. add in the capers, artichoke hearts, garlic, red pepper
  6. heat over medium until thoroughly heated through
  7. pour over pasta and garnish with parmesan

(meal also works well with shrimp or without the chicken for a vegitarian version)
